I have decided to combine all threads and posts about Netbank offers in one thread because there is enormous number of Netbank bonuses and we could flood the board with them if posted separately.
Below is the best of the Netbank bonuses (thanks bobk2000).

$250 offer

1) Get $100, $50 or $20 VisaŽ Gift Card!

Open a NetBank CD Account with a balance of $15,000 and a minimum term of 12 months and get a $100 VisaŽ Gift Card;

get a $20 VisaŽ Gift Card.

2) Open a NetBank Checking Account with a $50 minimum deposit and maintain an average daily balance of $500 for at least one month and get $75.

[SIZE=7][COLOR=purple]Opened several bank accounts in response to bank offers.
Am closing this one with NetBank following the completion
of the six month trial period. The high interest rate on the
Money Market Account does remain tempting.

On the other hand, have found that the added return
does not at all compensate for the added hastle.

The problem is that NetBank is exactly what it's name says...
a net-bank.

While the customer service agents tend to do their best,
they do not seem to be supported at higher levels.
I found that such supervisors tend to be 'shadowy'
at best. Instead of making a return phone call
to clarify the situation, a brief, cookie cutter type
e-mail was used instead. Attempts at further
clarification were simply a waste of time.

In other words, if things go well, this is probably as good a
'bank' as any other.

But if problems occur, you may quickly discover that
being a NetBanker is like trying to bank from Mars...
maybe relying on smoke signals would be better.

Thank you for your post. It is a very good comment. I usually do not open a bank account just follow their ads. Too much work to trace. However, big banks usually give me good rewards. Citibank, is one of the good bank to take advantge. So so customer service, but very knowledgable, but on the other hand, you will be able to find a lot of way to reward yourself. Their database not smart at all. Fidelity is a good back/brokerage, good software. very good service. Bank of America, a good bank for daily banking needs. etrade bank, good customer service, easy to fool around. emigrant bank is still among the best yield in momey market savings. ING good is no hastle. but now not as good as emigrant in yield, disappionted.

I just got the $75.00 credited to my account with no hassle. I'm going to wait out my 30 day minimum and then do the CD too. So far it's been easy money.

Be warned - NetBank has a $7.50 fee for closing an account, and a monthly fee for not using your account (no activity whatsoever) after 12 months. Definitely still works out on the plus side for each $75 credit.

I don't like Netbank (they have all sorts of hidden fees), but I'll take the free money. It's still like an effective yield of 12.5% or something, which is good for a stable investment.

Go to drugstore.com, on the left side under "trusted partners" click on "netbank". They are offering: Open a NetBank CD Account with a balance of $15,000 and a minimum term of 12 months and get a $100 VisaŽ Gift Card;
or with a balance of $10,000 and a minimum term of 12 months and get a $50 VisaŽ Gift Card; or with a balance of $5,000 and a minimum term of 12 months and
get a $20 VisaŽ Gift Card. Current APY for a 12 month year CD is 5.25%; if you count the VISA card as added interest, this effectively gives you 5.91% for a $15,000 CD; 5.75% for the 10K CD; and 5.65% for the 5K CD.

if you don't want to go to drugstore.com, just use this link:
