The minimum balance to open a Checking Account and to earn up to the $50 bonus is $50. All accounts opened are subject to applicable terms and conditions. Direct Plus Checking Account
Direct Plus Checking is free when you have direct deposit of salary, Social Security, pension or other preauthorized deposit made to your account at least once during each monthly statement cycle. Without direct deposit, there is a $4 monthly service fee.

Checking with Interest
The Checking with Interest Account will earn interest at a tiered rate. The interest rates and Annual Percentage Yields(APYs)are variable and may change after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings. A minimum balance fee of $10 will be imposed each month if the average daily balance falls below $2,000. As of 4/14/05, the APYs for the Checking with Interest Account were 0.25% (balances under $2,500), 0.35% (balances of $2,500 to $24,999.99), 0.50% (balances of $25,000 to $49,999.99), 0.50% (balances of $50,000 to $99,999.99)and 0.50% (balances of $100,000 and over).

Credit Exclusives
Credit Exclusives Checking Accounts earn interest at a tiered rate; the higher the balance, the higher the rate. As of 4/14/05, the APYs for this account were 0.25% (balances under $2,500), 0.35% (balances $2,500 to $24,999.99), 0.50% (balances $25,000 to $49,999.99), 0.50% (balances $50,000 to $99,999.99), and 0.50% (balances $100,000 and over). The interest rates and Annual Percentage Yields (APYs) are variable and may change after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings.

As part of Credit Exclusives, you must maintain a combined minimum daily balance in your designated Standard Federal deposit accounts and outstanding principal loan balance on your designated ABN AMRO Mortgage or LaSalle Home Mortgage Corporation mortgage and Standard Federal Bank consumer loans or lines of credit of $25,000 or greater, or a commitment amount of at least $25,000 on your Standard Federal Bank Home Equity Line of Credit on each day during the month, otherwise a monthly service charge of $22 will be imposed against your Credit Exclusives Checking Account. We will reduce the service charge to $20 as long as your salary, social security or pension benefits are directly deposited into your Credit Exclusives Checking Account. Only the balances on loans in good standing, e.g. not more than 30 days delinquent, in bankruptcy or foreclosure, may be counted towards the $25,000 balance requirement. If your Credit Exclusives Checking Account is closed for any reason, we will terminate your participation in Credit Exclusives.
