We’ve upgraded pcbanker with several enhancements that are sure to make your online banking experience not only convenient but more secure as well. Here are some of the enhancements you can expect to see when you sign-on to pcbanker:
• pcbanker Alert Service - You can set-up both Personal and Financial Alerts to notify you either by e-mail or secure message when specific activities have occurred. Using the Financial Alerts, you can be notified when a specific check clears, a specific transaction has posted to your account or your account balance is above or below a certain balance. In addition, you can set-up Personal Alerts for any occasion (for example, birthdays, anniversaries or personal appointments) by selecting the date the alert is to be sent, the event you would like to be reminded of and how often you would like to receive that alert. To begin using the pcbanker Alert Service, select ‘Options’ from the left menu and click on the appropriate link under ‘Alert Service’ at the top of the page to set-up Personal and Financial Alerts.
• Stronger Password Rules - As an additional security measure, the next time you change your password, you will now be required to have a password that is a combination of at least six numbers and letters. Your password must also contain at least one of each of these characters (one letter and one number).
• Password Change Notification E-mails - Every time you or a member of American Bank’s Customer Service team changes your password, you will receive an e-mail immediately notifying you that a password change has occurred.
• Real-Time Stop Payments – Stop payments will now be placed in real-time to ensure that your check is stopped when you need it to be.
• Overdraft Protection Limits will no longer be included in your account’s available balance to help accurately reflect the dollar amount available for immediate withdrawal, minus any holds.
