Terms:

Rewards are earned as points, which can be redeemed for cash back. 1% cash back equals 1 point. If you choose to redeem for cash back, 1 point equals $0.01 cash back. For example, 2,500 points can be redeemed for a $25 check.

You will earn 3 points for each $1 of net purchases made at merchants that classify their merchant location for Visa/MasterCard in any of the following categories: airlines, car rental agencies (excluding truck, trailer, and RV), cruise ships, lodging establishments, passenger railways (excluding local and commuter trains), and travel agencies. We do not determine whether merchants correctly identify and bill transactions as being made at locations in each particular category. However, we do reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for the 3 points. Purchases not eligible to receive the 3 points include, but are not limited to, purchases made at superstores, warehouse clubs, discount stores, and their affiliates. Online and catalog purchases are not eligible to receive the 3 points unless the merchants have correctly identified and billed the transactions. You will earn 1 base point for each $1 of all other net purchases. For the first 6 billing cycles from your enrollment date in the program, you will earn 4 bonus points in addition to your 1 base point (total 5 points) for each $1 of net purchases. You do not earn points on balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that are used to access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including fees for products that protect or insure the balances of your account. There is no maximum number of points that you can accumulate in the program. For rewards program details see Rewards Program Rules and Regulations, which will be mailed after your account is established. Retain this disclosure for bonus offer details.
