I applied online for this offer and sent in my signature card. About a week later, I received a letter from Chase saying that my application was denied because this offer was available only in-branch. It seems strange that an online offer was denied for this reason.
I wonder if my note on the signature card not to send checks had anything to do with it.
I was also denied, with the following explanation:
"In reviewing your application, we were unable to verify some of the information that you provided on your application."
When I called Chase to inquire about "the information" they couldn't verify, the customer service rep couldn't help me, she said that I would have to go into a branch...which of course I can't do because there are no Chase branches in my area.
