For Free Checking, if I'm not mistaken, Wachovia does not give first orders of checks free and they limit phone queries to 2 per statement cycle. After that it'll be $2 per call.

Question: If a voided check is required for direct deposit, and you don't have one, can it still be set-up?

Has anyone tried to to open the account?
I called to ask for more details but it seems the CSR doesn't know about it. If you click on the "Free Checking For Life" link, the offer is no where to be found.

FYI.
I callled Affinity because the full page ad stated the rate is only guaranteed till 12/31/06.
The CSR clarrified that the 5% is now guaranteed till 06/30/07. After that, the account earns 3%.

Has anyone heard of SwissCash? www.swisscash.biz
They're suppposed to be really big overseas (not quite sure where).
I was told they give up to 300% return in 15 months.
Too good to be true?
