So you've taken advantage of all the bank bonuses out there...but tax time's coming up! Here're the banks I KNOW sent me the 1099s for 2005

Received already
ING Direct (it's on the website)
Netbank and UFBDirect use the same format
Sandy Spring Bank
M&T
CharterOne (even though it's now Citizens)
Chevy Chase Bank
ebank (no sign of the bonus on it though)
Provident Bank
National City (I think)
Virtualbank -- 2/2/06
HSBC -- 2/2/06

Still waiting for:
BoA (for Keep the Change)
Emigrant
LaSalle
PNC
Citibank
Meadows CU (?)

Please reply with anything you've received so far...Thanks!

You may want to check with BoA and ED. I have received their forms some time ago.

I checked with both banks and the people there claim that I shouldn't receive a 1099 since it's only based on the interest from my accounts (not bonuses)

Does this mean a LOT of banks are not counting the bonuses as interest? happy.gif (Citibank, Emigrant, PNC, among others)
