Is it normal for US banks, if they do not want to open an account?
I am a permanent resident and wanted to open an account in Compass Bank but they said, that they will not open because I have different names( I changed it legally).
And they did not give written explanations. What to do?

If you changed names legally, do you have an official record of the name change? If so, may be the bank will accept a copy of this record to verify your identity.
