The cell phone will be mailed approximately six to eight weeks after account opening. If direct deposit is not established after 45 days of account opening, a $6 monthly fee will be assessed. This account must remain open for a minimum of 12 months (no minimum balance required for cell phone), or the cost of the cell phone will be automatically deducted from the checking account balance. A 1099-INT statement for the cell phone amount (including applicable sales tax) will be issued. Flushing Savings Bank reserves the right to make a cell phone substitution of comparable value and assumes no liability for any defects in or damages, direct or consequential, from cell phone.
