The following info was posted by biglittle on FW:

QUOTE
Monday, March 6th, my wife received a call that I needed to call PNC bank regarding my debit card.

I called and spoke with a CSR that told me my debit card and PIN had been compromised and that they lowered my ATM withdrawal limit and were sending me a new card and PIN.

It was like pulling teeth to get the CSR to give me any details, but the CSR said that it was not compromised through PNC bank and approximately 30,000 customers were effected (my wife's card and PIN were not affected). PNC bank was "notified by a third party" that the accounts had been compromised. I asked if it was because I used a specific ATM or from a retail/online purchase and the CSR said no. I can only assume it was some type of lost media containing customer data.

If anyone has more information, please post. If find out more information, I'll update.
