The only one which I'm aware of is LaSalle Bank. The maximum opening deposit which you can charge is $1000 and you MUST charge the deposit at the time you apply for the account.

Is this the gift card offer? I don't see mention of funding by use of a credit card being considered anything but a cash advance in their online literature.

Gloucester County Federal Savings Bank (NJ),

pays over 5%

for the first 90 days on their "cybersaver" account. I opened 2 accounts there in February, charged $5000 on a visa card for each, it was treated as a purchase.
Bank of America lets you charge an opening deposit for an account on a credit card as a purchase, but the limit is lower ($100? $999?); and its hard to avoid monthly fees at Bank of America
