IBD note: I suspect this is a local deal because the bank does not let you open an account online. However, since it is always possible that a bank can allow opening an account by mail or over the phone, I would like to keep the bonus on this board for now. Also, I do not take into account the $50 "refer a friend" bonus and $25 "Auto pay on a new loan" bonus.

In the Columbus, Cincinnati and Springfield/Dayton banking centers Interest earning checking accounts have an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 0.25%. In all other banking centers Interest earning checking accounts have an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 0.10%. The rate may change after the account is opened. APY is accurate as of 3/30/07.
