Here’s the fine print: This $80 bonus offer is valid for new Citizens Bank members who join Citizens Bank of Canada between July 25, 2005 and October 31, 2005 and open an Ultimate Savings Account with a minimum initial deposit of $500 for a 6 month holding period. An online application form must be received by Citizens Bank no later than October 31, 2005. In order for a new member to qualify for this bonus, all account opening conditions must be satisfied, including receipt of the minimum initial deposit by Citizens Bank no later than November 14, 2005. This offer is limited to one $80 bonus per new account and is limited to one account per new member. This bonus will be deposited into the qualifying account upon receipt of the minimum initial deposit of $500. The combined total of the deposit and the bonus offer will be held on deposit for 6 months. If the minimum initial deposit of $500 is not maintained for the entire duration of the 6 month period, the member is not eligible for the $80 bonus offer and it will be withdrawn from the account.
