I've sent a test bofA referral link to myself and the email lists your name and address as a referring customer. I wonder if it is used by the bank to determine who should get the bonus as a referrer. I tought that since there's a link to apply online, it should contain the referrer's info or I'm wrong?

The reason I'm asking is because I want to give a referral to a complete stranger, so of course I would prefer not to reveal my true name and address.

Any info appreciated.

thanks!
