*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Federally insured by NCUA. The dividend rate and annual percentage yield for your account is subject to change daily based on the sole discretion of the credit union. Dividends are calculated monthly based on the average daily balance and are posted on the last day of the month. Dividends are compounded monthly. If you close your account before dividends are paid, you will not be paid accrued dividends. If transferring your existing Dividend Checking account to a Go Green Checking account, dividends will not be paid at the time of transfer.

Your account will earn the Go Green Checking rate on the average daily balance up to $50,000.00. The average daily balance above $50,000.00 will earn the Dividend Checking rate. To be eligible to earn the Go Green Checking rate, you must complete a minimum of 12 posted electronic debit card transactions from your account each month. Qualifying transactions are: signature or PIN-based purchases and online purchases or online bill payments made with your debit card. If you do not meet the 12 monthly posted transaction requirement, the entire balance of the account will earn the Dividend Checking rate for that month. Only one Go Green Checking account is allowed per membership account. Changes to this account will be communicated via your email.

to qualify to join Coastal FCU you used to have to pay like $35 for NC consumers council membership

but now they say:
