Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is 0.10% for Premium and Patriot Checking and 0.20% for Five Star Checking as of January 28, 2008 and is subject to change without notice. Fees may reduce earnings. To qualify for the $100, you must open a new checking account and initiate a repeating direct deposit such as payroll, pension or Social Security. The first direct deposit must be completed within 30 calendar days of account opening. The $100 will be deposited into your new account within 45 days after the initial direct deposit and is not considered part of the minimum opening balance. Checking account must remain open for a minimum of six months or the reward will be debited from the account at closing. $100 gift is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form1099-INT.
