EZ REWARD Checking is a no minimum balance, FREE checking account that rewards customers with 5.22% APY* earnings and automatic refunds on ATM fees for helping our bank operate more efficiently. When customers use our free services such as internet banking, electronic statements and debit cards, they save our bank money. In that way we can REWARD our customers with this exceptional rate!
To receive the high interest and ATM fee refunds, account holders must meet the EZ REWARD Checking requirements each qualification cycle:
EZ REWARD REQUIREMENTS* per qualification cycle:
- Access Internet Banking
- One Electronic Direct Deposit or One ACH Automatic Debit per cycle
- Receive Electronic Statement monthly (valid email address required)
- Make 10 Point of Sale Debit Card Transactions
If the requirements are NOT MET during the qualification cycle, you will not receive the bonus rate of interest or ATM refunds for that qualification period. You will earn not less than an interest rate of 0.50% with an annual percentage yield (APY) of 0.50% on the balances in the account. Customers can always qualify during the next statement cycle! (ATM transactions are free at Crow River Bank ATMs)
EZ REWARD Checking accounts are for personal accounts only; limited to one per customer 18 years of age or older; account subject to credit approval. NO MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE. Fees could reduce earnings.

Qualification cycle means a period starting one day prior to the beginning of the current statement period through one day prior to the close of current statement period.
Customer may elect to receive electronic check images for a fee of $1.00 per statement cycle. Cost of checks, deposit slips and withdrawal tickets will vary depending upon the style selected and the quantity ordered. Other bank fees may apply.
*5.22% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) paid on balances to $25,000 and 1.36% APY paid on balances over $25,000 each qualification cycle the minimum requirements are met. If requirements per qualification cycle are not satisfied, the account then functions as a free checking account earning not less than 0.50% APY; however, it will not receive ATM fee refunds for that time period.
