Is there a NEWBIE guide for people new to the forum. I have been doing this bank signup type of thing as well with Credit Cards since I turned 18 but I heard on the radio a compass bank one so I did a search and found this site. hopefully I can share my knowledge as well as gain some from you.

Honestly I check out this website everyday. I have Internet Explorer and have this site as one of my Favorites. You can also see the left column: Bank bonuses, Card bonuses, U.S. bank bonuses or Credit card bonuses or the like

This depends on things like how much money you can invest to satisfy initial deposit requirement, min balance to avoid monthly fee if any and the sate you live in.

You could use iBankBonus.com to sort bank bonuses for nationwide accounts and local accounts by their value to find the best one that suits your situation.

On the upper left side of the homepage, it says "Site Navigation"; directly under that it says "DATABASES", and directly under that click on "Bank bonuses", and you'll be taken to a list of nationally available bank bonuses, sorted by bonus amount, in descending order. On the left side of the page, under "Bonuses by state" click on your state of residency, and the list will include local bonuses available in your state.
