Note: Apparently, you would pay $12.99 and $9.99 via ETrade and Ameritrade, respectively, for the same kind of transaction. I am not sure how the $2.95 flat-rate stocks fee is different from $9.95 per trade fee since I do not do stock trading.

No escalating per-contract-fees for equity options; OptionsHouse reserves the right to pass-through any regulatory fees and any third-party fees related to index and ETF options. Commission for spread trades applies to orders with the same underlying symbol, up to four legs per order. For stocks priced $2.00 or less that are not options eligible, add $0.01 per share for the entire order. Customers may trade up to 50,000 shares or 4,000 option contracts per trade; trades in excess of these parameters require multiple order tickets and will be billed as separate orders.
