If someone you refer funds a new account with at least $1,000 and executes a trade, we’ll deposit $50 into both of your accounts.
Refer a Friend Eligibility Requirements
Both Referrer and Referred friend (“Referred”) must reside in the U.S. to be eligible for the Refer a Friend reward (“Reward”).
Referrer must have a qualifying investment account in good standing. Account types that don't qualify include: traditional IRA, ROTH IRA, Rollover IRA, SEP IRA, Simple IRA, Solo 401K and Coverdell IRA.
Referrals are tracked through the link in the Tradeking Refer a Friend email, which creates a unique electronic cookie as an identifier. Therefore, the user's cookie setting must be enabled. Tradeking is not required to pay for any referrals that do not follow the link in the Refer a Friend email or to users' whose cookies are not enabled.
Referred must belong to a household not already known to Tradeking .
A household is one physical mailing address.
Referred can not reside at the same address as Referrer.
Only one Referred per household is eligible.
Referred can not already be a Tradeking account holder or a Tradeking Community member.
Referred has the opportunity to opt out of the Refer a Friend program (“Program”). If Referred opts out of the Program, then Referrer is no longer eligible for a Program Reward for that referral.
Program participants must operate in good faith, and participants must have the intention of maintaining a brokerage relationship with Tradeking .
Tradeking reserves the right to disqualify any user from the Program at any time, for any reason.
Employees of Tradeking and companies affiliated with Tradeking , and those ineligible by law, are ineligible for Reward.
Program can be terminated or altered at any time, and without notice.
Refer a Friend Payment Rules
Payment of Program Rewards will be made within 90 days when the following requirements are fulfilled:
New referred client funds account with a minimum of $1,000 within 30 days of new account opening.
New referred client executes one trade in the new account within 180 days.
The minimum funds of $1,000 must remain in the account (minus any trading losses) for a minimum of 180 days or the credit may be surrendered.
Cannot be combined with any other offer. Referred cannot use a promotion code when opening his or her account. If a promotion code is used, the Referrer will not be eligible for the Program Reward. Please note: if you received a promotional Offer when you opened your account, you are still eligible to participate in the Program and receive Program Rewards.
When a Referrer's qualifying account is closed, they are no longer eligible and no further Reward payments will be made.
Referral Rewards must remain in your account for 180 days following payment.
Rewards are paid only as credits to your qualifying Tradeking account. No other forms of payment will be made.
If payment is made in error, or is determined to be the result of deceptive practices, Tradeking reserves the right to decline or reverse payment.
