This is for residents of DC, MD, or VA only. To earn the rate, you have 2 choices: make 10 debit card purchases per month OR receive 1 monthly direct deposit. There is no minimum DD amount requirement. The rate is good for balances up to $100,000. To avoid a $15 monthly fee, a minimum balance of $5,000 must be maintained.
