has anyone successfully gotten the $50 bonus in more than one account? like setup one for self, one for spouse, one for children?

I don't know about the 50, but you can do it for the 25 by referring your spouse, children, etc. It should work for the others.

I just called ING Direct. They said the deal is only for brand new accounts. If you closed your account before and wanted to open an account under your name, you would not get the $50. However, you could get the $50 if you open a *joint* account with someone who is *brand* new to ING Direct.
