Quick note:

I can recommend The Bancorp Bank to high-income customers because APY of its checking, savings and money market accounts is among the highest APYs you can find in other banks. The Bancorp Bank will also provide those customers with free bill online payment, ATM rebates and online images of front side of the checks.

I can not recommend The Bancorp Bank to low-income customers because its "cheapest" checking account with free bill payment (Premium Web Checking) requires $1,000 minimum daily balance to avoid $8.95 monthly fee. Many online banks offer free bill pay and ATM rebates with much lower or no minimum balance requirement (State Farm Bank, Farm Bureau Bank, Charter One Bank, etc). The Bancorp Bank offers this account with no ACH transfers, email alerts, or e-bills. You can get better terms elsewhere. For example, the interest checking account of First Internet Bank of Indiana with only $500 minimum balance requirement gives you free bill payment, ACH-in transfers, e-bills, email alerts, and ATM rebates.
