Terms:
1 Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 2.25% as of 2/18/05 and applies to balances of $50,000 or more. Balances of $15,000 - $49,999 will earn 1.75% APY, balances of $1,000 - $14,999 will earn a 0.40% APY and balances of less than $1,000 will earn a 0.30% APY. A $100 minimum balance is required to open account and you must maintain a balance of $15,000 to avoid a $20 monthly fee on the E*TRADE Bank Money Market Plus account. Certain fees may reduce earnings on account. Yields subject to change daily.
2 E*TRADE Bank will not charge you a fee for withdrawing funds from a non-E*TRADE FINANCIAL ATM but the owner/ operator of the ATM may. This feature will refund the fees charged by the ATM owner/ operator on all ATM fees through December 31, 2005 as long as the ledger balance of the account on the day of the withdrawal exceeds $15,000.
3 $175 bonus will be paid out in 2 intervals. $50 will be credited to your new E*TRADE Bank Money Market Plus account within 30 days of account being funded with a minimum balance of $100. The remainder of your bonus will be deposited into your account by November 5, 2005, as long as your account balance on November 1, 2005 is $15,000 or greater. Both payments will be reported as interest income. Accounts must be opened by April 30, 2005 to qualify for the $175 offer. Must be a new account opened with new funds. Offer applies to one new account per customer. Not good with any other offer.
4 Withdrawal limits apply. Account holders are allowed six withdrawals or transfers from their account in any calendar month (ATM withdrawals excluded), with a maximum of three withdrawals by check.
5 Transfers to and from other financial institutions submitted to E*TRADE Bank before 4 p.m. ET on a regular business day will be processed the same business day. All other such transfers will be processed the next business day. Transfers to E*TRADE Bank deposit accounts from outside financial institutions will earn interest on the day they are credited and will be available for withdrawal on the third business day from the date of credit. Transfers are limited to $25,000 per day between other financial institutions and E*TRADE Bank accounts.
