CNNMoney indicates there is a 3.46% National Money Market available, but does not indicate who is offering it. Does anyone have any additional information?

They are not federally insured, but they are privately insured by ASI. Actually if there are widespread bank failures, the FDIC might even go broke and have to be bailed out.
Minimum balance to get the 3.46% rate is $25,000 (or $500 in an IRA) and interest is paid quarterly (not monthly).
