Cash bonus is payable within 3 months of verified direct deposit of any payroll, pension or social security check set up after 2/1/07. Only one cash bonus per account and is reportable on IRS form 1099-int.
I called the bank to try opening an account over the phone, and they said they would mail an application to me. However, I live in New York, so I can't say whether or not they would mail an application to people in other states.
