As a customer who loves this bank, I can tell you that American Bank and Trust in Geneva, IL is matching a 6.01% APY rate for a 1 year CD that blows everyone away in the local area. I am hoping that some of you can take advantage of it. Talk to the Branch Manager and you will get this rate.

This is the only bank that greets you as you go in, asks if they can make you a cup of coffee, or a cold pop or water!!!!!! Their newest location in a Walmart is the most convenient for the value-shoppers.

Of course, they have many other branches that span between Kane County and Quad-Cities, but their recent move into Chicagoland has been a superb benefit for me.
