MILENNIUM BANK (OFFSHORE)

28 October 2007 - 07:53 PM

I was reading a blog about Millenium bank today and finally found someone that opened a c.d. with them. The blog is on Bankdeals.blogspot.com and it said that they had opened a one year c.d. and that when it came time to cash things in and get there money back they were running into problems. Three months had gone by and they were getting a runaround. There were many more comments about this bank on this site and the ten that I read were all negative. I don't know about everybody else but I am going to STAY AWAY

GREAT C.D. RATE 9.36% 7 MONTHS

9.36% apy 7month c.d.

29 September 2007 - 11:32 PM

Check out this deal at a Maryland credit union. www.secumd.org . This is a 7 month c.d. that gives you 2.50% on your total initial deposit of the c.d. that is credited to your account immediately( and by the way the cap is 200,000 on each c.d.). The actual apy on this one is 5%. But with the 2.50% from the get go it comes out to be somewhere in at 9.36% . The field of membership is the usual one for credit unions. I discovered this deal at bankdeals.blogspot.com. Too many details to list go to there web page and check out there GIVING THANKS C.D. If anyone can figure out how to open one of these c.d.'s up living out of state please share your ideas with us.
