You need a minimum of $100 to open a personal checking account. The 4.01% is paid on a daily basis up to $25,000. You are required to perform at least 12 debit card transactions , excluding ATMs. Also receive a monthly statement online, access your online account, and sign up for direct deposit.

Great bank, I have two grand-fathered RCAs with them (4% APY, $100K limit each).
