Earning Points
Cardholders will earn one point for every two U.S. dollars ($2) in eligible net purchases made on their Visa® Check Card, one point for every one U.S. dollar ($1) in eligible net purchases made on their Visa® Platinum Credit Card with BankRewards, one point for every one U.S. dollar ($1) in eligible net purchases made on their Home Equity Card and one point for every one U.S. dollar ($1) in eligible net purchases made on their Visa® BusinessRewards Check Card rounded to the nearest whole dollar. Periodically promotional points may be offered for certain products or activities.
“Net purchases” are defined as the dollar value of goods and services purchased with a Card beginning with the first day of the statement cycle that includes Cardholder’s Enrollment Date, minus any credits, returns, or other adjustments as reflected on monthly statements.
Transactions excluded from point calculation include the following:
ATM withdrawals, PIN based transactions, Cash Advances and convenience checks except as otherwise permitted in special promotional offers.
Internet lottery, betting or gaming transactions or any illegal transactions.
Any fees and card-related charges posted to a Rewards Card account including
ATM fees as outlined in the applicable agreements and fee schedules.
Negative points will post on a statement if returns or credits exceed purchases. Points may not be purchased.
Points may be earned only if the applicable account is in good standing. A Card account is not in good standing if closed or suspended. If the account is closed by you or your Financial Institution for any reason, all points that were accumulated but unused will be forfeited immediately.

The BankRewards points earned on the Visa® BusinessRewards CheckCard by all Cardholders will be combined into a single BankRewards account. Only one designated individual may have access to redeem the points.
Only eligible travel purchases made with an enrolled card will qualify for a rebate. Your credit will appear on your card statement in the month following receipt of your travel rebate certificate and receipts by the BankRewards Redemption Center. All minimum payments must be made while awaiting your credit.
Travel certificates must be redeemed in increments of 2,500 points with a minimum of 5,000 points. The minimum number of points to be redeemed for merchandise is 2,500 points and for gift cards is 2,000 points. The point redemption levels for merchandise and gift cards can be found on the web site or in the BankRewards catalog. Travel rebate certificates are valid for one year.
Points may be redeemed only from accounts that are open and in good standing as stated in the “Earning Points” section above.
Points redeemed and/or expired, if applicable, will be based on a first-in, first-out basis.
All redemptions are sent to the billing address on the account. UPS or USPS will usually deliver your item within 2-4 weeks. Shipments cannot be made to a post office box, an APO address or outside the 50 United States. You may update your mailing address by calling your Financial Institution.
All rewards are subject to availability. Reward items may be discontinued or withdrawn without notice. Should an item be discontinued, it will be replaced with an item of equal or greater value or you will be advised of unavailability so that you can make an alternate selection.

Some comments I have from setting up my own account: Decline checks. They will charge you to print and ship them, so make sure to tell them NO checks when signing up for the account. Also, this bank is open until at 7pm on weekdays, so there is plenty of time to set up an account after work!

For the three requirements, I set up direct deposit of $25 at work, I paid my Cox bill online using my checking account, and I transferred $25 from my savings account to the checking account (It's easiest to set up the transfer at the time of signing up for the account). Since there is no minimum time that the accounts must be open, I will close both accounts once I receive all my bonus money.

When opening up your account make sure and get several tell-a-friend forms if you plan on getting the referral bonus.
