Is this a scam, or for real? I'm all about free or easy bucks, so I'd like to know if it's for real.

I've been waiting for Capital One to raise their rates like many other banks are doing, but nothing yet. Both the High Yield Savings and Money Market accounts are holding at 3.45% Any scoop on this?

I picked low/no monthly fees. It doesn't take long for fees to add up and surpass a bonus, and it's like a monster eating away at the interest you've earned. Reputation is nice, but it isn't the most important thing as long as the bank is FDIC insured. Luckily I don't have to use customer service that much, and if I do I can be just as nasty as they want to be. Who cares about ATM's, using cash is in the past! I use a rewards credit card for everything so that I get more freebies! Good poll!!! It'll be interesting to see what everyone else votes for.

I voted for Capitol One b/c I used the "blank check" to purchase both of my vehicles. I was nice to go to the dealership with my financing already in my hand. They tried to beat the rate, but couldn't! I also have a high yield savings account and a money market checking account with them. The rates on these accounds are pretty good. Overall, it has been good to do business with them and that is why I am voting for them. My 2nd vote would be for ING, but it looks like they already have a lot of votes!
