Thanks for the information. I did not know their account had been hacked. I will have to read up on the story. Of course, that was several years ago already. I would want to make sure they have much better security measures first.

This would be a pretty good deal. It seems as if I could meet the terms to earn the points. Looks like this deal ends in about two weeks (slightly under). I will need to apply to open an account here in the next few days.

Can anyone tell me more about this bank in general please? I know the bank is one that I have heard of in the past. It seems like people considered it to be a very good bank. I think I see if they even have branches anywhere in my area.

I like the idea of 6 percent cash back. That is a very generous amount. I do wonder about American Express though. I know it is accepted many places. But I have still found various companies and businesses that do not accept American Express payments.

I love that this card would not have annual fees. It would be a good card for me because it seems to have really good rates. Once again, I really would love the Gift Card for Amazon. It is especially nice as it sounds like the Gift Card amount could be added pretty quickly. It also sounds as if it would be done pretty seamlessly.

I would not mind having this. For one thing, I like to shop on Amazon. Credit could certainly come in handy. Of course, having a gift card would as well. There are some things I hope to purchase on there now, in fact.

I have not heard of Amboy Direct. What experience does anyone have with them? I will have to look them up. I will need to see if this is a feasible banking option for me.

This seems like a really great offer. I am wondering if there are a lot of exclusions I am missing in reading this. It seems pretty simply and straightforward though. I also like that awards can be seen within a 30 day period. I have found some credit card companies that make you wake 60 days or more.

The reward points are certainly nice. The only down side for me is that I would be redeeming them for things other than travel points. So I would be receiving the lesser value on the bonus points. But still, any "free' value is better than nothing. I also think I would trust USAA not to have as many exclusions as some other banks.

This bank is excellent about offering cash back. It helps those who must use their cards to make purchases. Or you can even use your card and then pay off the balance quickly thereafter so that you can earn cash back. But at the same time, not needing to worry about carrying much of a balance.
