What does "within 30 days of 3-month anniversary" mean? So I must close the account in 30 days after I open it?

No, it means that you must close it no later than 3 months and 30 days after you open it.
e.g. you open it on Feb 1, you must close it by May 31. And this long-running bonus is available nationwide.

I opened some accounts, and did not like the way they handled them.
Everbank was either deceptive or just sloppy.
So, I did close them and wrote why.
Did eventually receive $50 consolation prize as promised, but it's silly to reward unhappy customers.
Why not bonus new business, whatever the criteria?
